The book is drawn from the experience of working with inner city children and looks at how each child is created in God’s image, the factors which damage this image, and offers practical suggestions as to how as children’s workers and churches we can begin to help restore the image. The book combines an exploration of the developmental needs of children with an understanding of their spirituality, believing that this is how we can enable children to grow into healthy, whole individuals.
