What is a Curbs Hub Community?
A Curbs Hub Community is the gathering together of children’s workers both paid and unpaid, from full time to once a month Sunday school worker. It is an opportunity to share our best practices, our frustrations, our joys and our training needs.
What we hope at Curbs is that we will hear not only your training needs but also what resources are needed and what areas of connection are there in our frustrations.
We will have some of our material available for you to look at and any opportunities in your area for training or working together.
If you would like to facilitate a Curbs Hub community or be part of a get together, then please get in touch and I will help to connect you up with others in your area.
CURBS development worker
Sara is the CURBS development worker, and joined us in January 2015. Sara’s main focus is the development and strategy around CURBS HUBS and Communities, so if you are running a HUB, are interested in setting one up local to you or just want to know more, then contact Sara. Sara has worked with children and families in a number of settings over a long period of time, and is also a Baptist Minister. Sara has lived on the Leigh Park estate on the outskirts of Portsmouth for the past 13 years with her husband and 4 children.
